It seems that the program Subtitle Edit likes (prefers) to use VLC for retrieving audio from the imported video files. All was fine until today when suddenly, every time I tried to get the.wav file so that I could view the audio monitor in Subtitle Edit, I kept getting a notification that VLC Media Player has crashed and therefore, no audio file would open. I mean, the audio and video are there, but if you've ever used Subtitle Edit, you can actually SEE the audio stream bars and edit subtitles with it much easier. But as of today, it won't retrieve the.wav files from the video to display the audio bar.
What's happened? I've uninstalled and reinstalled VLC (it had other issues during playback of videos in it's app) and now the videos play fine in VLC but it keeps crashing when trying to retrieve audio for Subtitle Edit. I can't seem to get Subtitle Edit to use another program such as WMP or PowerDVD to generate the audio stream.

Subtitle Edit Portable is an editor for movie subtitles. With Subtitle Edit you can easily adjust the start time of any subtitle if it is not synchronized with the movie. The best way to synchronize your subtitles is not via VLC (tho it is possible). Oracle capacity planning and sizing spreadsheets crack. To permanently synchronize subtitles you would need to use tools like SubtitleWorkshop and through that tool you can easily edit subtitles the way you want, even set first and last spoken like synchronize subtitles even with more accuracy.
